Hi, thanks for visiting my blog. The reason my hamster was a miracle is this: One night he escaped from his cages and we spent a week looking for him. We concluded he had perished. Two months later, I was telling my neighbor that we had to have our cat euthanized due to a brain tumour. We were upset, and I mentioned that 2 months earlier we lost Marshall, as well. She asked me what he looked like. I told her he was a teddy bear hamster. She said that about 2 months ago she found a "guinea pig" in her yard. When my husband went over that night night, sure enough it was our Marshall that they had found in their yard and rescued! So on the day we had to euthanize our cat, we got our hamster back!
