Happy Birthday to Ewe

Hello friends! Can I first just say how nice you all are? I just love reading your sweet comments, they make my day... really! I have been a bad blog commenter lately, just too much going on. But I am going to take some time this weekend and get around to commenting. I still cant get over how much great stuff is out there. Anyway on to today's card. The background was stamped in aquamist with PTI's tin type background stamp. LOVE those, so easy to line up. The aquamist scallop was cut with PTI's scallop die. All other images are from Waltzingmouse stamps. I love the little lamb, that one is a part of the Lil Buddies' set. The circle is from Vintage circles. I think that sentiments are both from Lil' Buddies but I am not positive. I colored the lamb with my trusty copics, stuck it all down, and called it good! Thanks for coming by to say hi today.

Butterfly Thank You

Happy Saturday! Today I have for you a card made with PTI's new Butterfly Dreams. I used the new scallop dies to cut out three pink scallops (fizz, hibiscus, sweet blush) and the butterfly die to cut out the butterflies. I colored the butterflies with my copics. I stamped the sentiment in fresh snow. A few little rhinestones for some glitter. I have to go to professional development all day. I hope your Saturday is better than mine!

I love this sentiment! So cute! This whole card uses stamps from Waltzingmouse Stamps. The chicky and the sentiment are from Lil buddies. The circle and polka dot are from Vintage Circles. The grid pattern and stitching are from Off Beat Backgrounds. I used PTI spring rain and dark chocolate ink. I colored the chicky with copics. The paper is from PTI. Its pouring down rain here and I can't stop sneezing so this is the perfect card for today! Thanks for coming by!

Violet Thanks

Hello there! Happy Tuesday! Today I have a card for you chock full of my new PTI goodies. First up the Violet from Year of the Flowers: Violets. I thought this flower would be easy to color. I was wrong. Not easy. In Bloom and Friends til the end are so much easier. I stamped the leaves on pp from MM. The striped paper is also from MM (I bought it ages ago, I am sure its not around anymore). I made the scallop with my new PTI scallop die... this is the large scallop. I added some new leaf ribbon which looks avocado like in the pic but in real life is a much truer green. The sentiment is from YOF: Violets. The little frame is from Fillable Frames. I have the die to cut it out, but this one I did by hand. The ink is from dew drops, the name is escaping me at the moment. The base of the card is PTI New Leaf. Thanks for stopping in!

More Waltzingmouse Goodness

First up is this cute little baby boy card. Unfortunately I know only one pregnant person and she is having a girl! LOL... maybe I can sell it at school. Anyway I used Waltzingmouse Vintage circles to stamp the circle border in Spring Rain ink. I then cut it out with my scallop nesties. I stamped the little border on PTI white with Spring rain ink using a little companion stamp from vintage circles. The little lamb and sentiment are from WM Lil Buddies set. I colored the lamb with my copics to match the spring rain ink. I punched a border with my slot punch and threaded through some spring rain ribbon and then tied on a matching bow. The whole thing was super quick to make.
I just love this little card, doesn't it look like the Bees are circling the sentiment? First I stamped the Bees on PTI white. I kind of just eyeballed where they should be based on the circles. Next I masked them with a quick paper mask. Then I used the dotted circle from WM Vintage circles and lined it up with the bees and stamped it in black noir. Next I added the sentiment (from WM Lil Buddies) and the small bee (from WM spring baskets). I added some color with my copics. I cut out a scalloped mat with my nesties using PTI bitty boxes paper. The card base is Summer Sunrise. I stamped it with the WM Off Beat Backgrounds checkerboard using summer sunrise ink. Next I ran PTI tea dye ink all over it (had to cover my crooked stamping! LOL). Ribbon is PTI black satin. Thanks for stopping in today. I did lots of stamping today, so be on the lookout for more WM later this week.

Lets Talk Waltzingmouse Stamps

Hi all! I am so excited because yesterday I got my latest order from Waltzingmouse stamps. Have you heard of WM? WM is owned by Claire Brennan, who is sweet as pie and designs the most fabulous little stamps. They are based in Ireland... but even with over seas shipping they are still a fabulous deal. Her new spring and Easter stamps are beyond adorable. So many cute sentiments and such adorable little stamps. Below I have a card I made combining two sets, Lil' Buddies and Spring Baskets. I did a bit of masking, which was easy peasy. Then I colored everything up with my copic markers. Cut out some shapes with my nesties using PTI paper. I made the card into a scalloped shape by placing my nestie on the fold. I added some stickles glitter glue to finish it off because everything is better with glitter!
Below we have more cute chickies in the basket. This one is not yet a card, but I had to add in the picture so you could see those cute little bees! Aren't they sweet? Each bee, chick and basket is a separate stamp. Cute stuff and with so many sentiments they could be used for many occasions, not just Easter!
So whats keeping you from ordering from Waltzingmouse? Is it the whole different currency thing? Dont give that another thought, Claire has made it easy to see how many dollars you will be spending vs. English pounds. She also uses paypal so its super easy to pay with your credit card. Her shipping is very reasonable even if you have to ship it to the US. And its so quick too! I think my order took just about a week to reach me (I am in California), which is way faster than many US based companies. Her clear stamps are high quality and take ink wonderfully well. I assure you it is so easy! Don't be scared! Go get some Waltzingmouse stamps, soon you will be addicted just like me!
PS. I do not work for WM, nor am I paid or compensated for saying these things. I just love Claire and her product. :)

In Bloom

I made another card almost like this one the other day and I fell in love with the combo of aqua mist and orange zest. Crazy huh? I think so, but it really seems to work. For this card I cut a base of aqua mist. I then cut two pieces of InBloom paper in orange zest and Summer sunrise. Next I stamped the flowers from In Bloom on white cardstock. I colored them up with my trusty copics. And then I completely covered them with Stickles (Diamond). I do love stickles. Next I added some aqua mist grosgrain and some orange zest twill ribbon. I dug around in my button jars and came up with a large aqua mist button and a small pearly orange zest button. The sentiment is stamped in black on the ribbon. Its from birthday basics.

The image is on Kraft, mounted on Avocado and then mounted on Dark Chocolate. Well I am off to work... thanks for stopping by!

Cute Little Cupcake

I am back, with more cupcakes! Like I said yesterday I have paper-pieced a bajillion of these cute little guys. The cupcake is from the Baby Button Bits set from PTI. The patterned paper is a mix of PTI and memory box (sweet baby). Everything else is PTI. I think the sentiment is from Through the Trees. Speaking of PTI, today is the first day of their anniversary celebration, they are turning 3! Lots of prizes and fun on Nichole's blog, stop over if you have time. As for me, I am off to the gym this AM and then I am meeting a new friend that I met on the PTI message board. We are going to do a little shopping at the local stamp store. Should be fun. I made her some card candy (guess??? yep little paper-pieced cupcakes!). See ya tomorrow!
