Birthday Cupcake

Hello friends! Sorry for the lack of updates lately. The end of the school year is always so busy! I haven't touched cardstock in at least 3 or 4 days. But I do have for you a card I made last week. P1070103
I love this diamond background from Waltzingmouse stamps. The best part about it is that it easily spans the card base!  I inked it a little unevenly to get a distressed look.  I added a piece of vellum and used a sentiment from PTI.  The cupcake is also from PTI (Baby Button Bits).  It is paper pieced with doodlebug papers.  The star borders were cut with the PTI star border die from Doodlebug and PTI papers.  Thanks for stopping in!

That Doodlebug cuppie is the cutest! And I do like what you did with the distress-look stamping on the background. This is a sweet card.

RE: milk. Actually - we bought that milk 2 weeks ago today and the date on it is 6/4...so tomorrow. And yes, we finished it all. With the kids out of school, they have milk with their breakfast and lunch and dinner. and I like a warm mug of milk every night before bed. Have not touched the Jello things yet - but I had the chocolate ones before and I loved them. There isn't much that I don't eat - LOL!

Have a good week!
