Close up of the cutie bear. He is stamped on kraft and colored with copics. I added a doodlebug cupcake to his belly.
I have one more card from my "little bear" session. I think this bear is so cute on kraft. He is from PTI's Baby Button Bits. Its a great set and very versatile. Today I combined some PTI bitty dot patterned paper, a strip of cupcakes from doodlebug and the birthday wishes sentiment from PTI's anniversary set. So fun! I definitely got my moneys worth from the doodlebug fancy frills.

Clean and Simple
Good morning from rainy Northern California! Will it ever be warm again? Today I am taking a class to the county fair... its going to be wet! Anyhow on to the cards.... I had to make about 30 thank yous recently so I knew I had to keep it simple. I used a card kit that I got at my LSS stamp sale... guess how much (for 10 cards!!)? 1 dollar! Yes 1 dollar! It came with window cards, coordinating colored paper with the hole punched out, and envies. I also picked up this bird stamp. It was in a little set by My Sentiments Exactly. It too cost 1 dollar! What a steal! So I stamped the bird on the inside. I also stamped thank you underneath but its not visible in the pictures. Last I added some embellies. The top picture has a flower by Petal loo. The bottom has button and twine from PTI.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a good one!

Papertrey Ink Blog Hop!
Hi and Welcome to the monthly PTI blog hop. Here is the challenge for this month:
This month's blog hop is all about fabulous felt! We know you love this new addition to our product line-up and we would love to see what you are doing with it! From borders to focal points, paper crafts to sewing projects. Hair accessories to home decor accents. Cards to scrapbook layouts. We want to see it all!
You can read more about it on PTI's website...here
My card uses PTI's Hawaiian shores cardstock, a selection of PTI buttons, and PTI fresh snow ink. I used Giga Guidelines for the sentiment. The felt is from Queen and Co. It is self adhesive, which is great because I hate the feeling of felt!
Wishing You the Best!
Card Deets: Base is PTI Plum Pudding. Stamped with PP ink. The circle stamp is from Waltzingmouse Vintage Circles. I cut out the center with a craft knife. I added the white dots with a gel pen. The flowers were stamped on PTI vellum and linen vellum. They were cut with the PTI matching dies. I added twine and plum pudding buttons to the centers. The sentiment and dragon fly are stamped in Fresh Snow. They are from the PTI Wishing you set. Card edges are inked in PP.

Lets Do Lunch!
Hi there! Today I have a cute little card featuring Vintage Picnic. I stamped the picnic basket on Kraft and then colored a bit with my copics. I pieced the napkin and colored the fruit.
The base is PTI rustic cream. I used another Doodlebug Fancy Frills for the border and I stamped a vintage label one on the card using summer sunrise. Sorry to post and run but I have a million things to do today! Have a good one!

More Teddy Bears
This is how scattered I am... I had to go search my blog to see if I had used this photo already! Its been CRAZY here lately. I can not wait for this school year to be done. It is just one thing after another lately. Anyway since my life is so chaotic I am all about the CAS card lately. I love this little teddy bear. Its from PTI's Baby Button Bits. I use that set alot. Definitely on my recommend list. This is a one layer card made with a piece of PTI Kraft paper. I stamped the little bear in dark chocolate. I punched a heart out of some PTI bitty dots paper and covered it in crystal stickles. I then used a Doodlebug Fancy Frills heart border that I cut in pieces. The sentiment is from the same set and is also stamped in dark chocolate.

Waltzing Mouse Blog Hop
Hi there! I am late but it could be worse! Today is the Waltzingmouse customer blog hop. Tons of great ideas all easily accessible in the Waltzingmouse forum. I had this idea in my head all week but its been so crazy here today was the first time I was able to sit down and execute it.
I used the little bird from the Lil Buddies set. I dismantled an old Studio G set for the little hat. Its a perfect fit! The frame is from Vintage Labels One set. The scalloped border is from Doodlebug and the sentiment is from Lil Buddies. Thanks for Waltzing over!

Good Morning! Happy Friday to you! Today I have a welcome baby card for you. I used PTI rustic white for the base. The yellow scallops are from Bitty Dot Summer Sunrise. I cut them using the PTI scallop die. The green scallop is more Doodle Bug Fancy Frills. The teddy bear is from the Baby button set from PTI. I stamped it on kraft and cut it out. I colored with my topics and added a rhinestone/brad from MM. Thanks for stopping in!

CPS Challenge
Hi there! Do you use CPS (Card Positioning Systems)? They have a great sketch each week and then one lucky participant gets a fabulous prize. Sketches are the perfect thing when the mojo isn't flowing. You can check out CPS here.So following the sketch I broke out of my little A2 rut (like 90% of my cards) and went for this tall, skinny number. The actual size is 3.5x8.5 inches. It actually went together quite quickly because the focal image was already cut and colored. When I don't have alot of time or when I am just in a coloring mood I make small pieces and store them away for when I am ready to do a whole card. The base is lemon tart (PTI), the mat is summer sunrise (PTI) cut with label one nestie and stamped with a coordinating stamp from Waltzingmouse stamps. Both trims are Doodlebug fancy frills (from the cupcake collection). The sentiment and basket are from PTI's Vintage picnic.
And here is a close up of the little basket. Its stamped on Kraft and colored with copics. The little napkin is summer sunrise bitty dot paper. The fruit/food was stamped on white and colored with copics. Fun little coloring while you are watching tv. Thanks for coming by!

Many Thanks
Does it count as a one layer card if you put ribbon on it? I don't know the rules, LOL. Anyway today we have one half sheet of rustic cream from PTI turned into a A2 card. I inked the edges with PTI tea die duo. I stamped the frame with PTIs Frame 3 and added the corresponding sentiment. Next I used my beyond basics borders and some ripe avocado to stamp the scallop and the dots. Last I added the avocado ribbon, bow and button.

Birthday Wishes
Hey there friends! I have been crafting up a storm all weekend! I should have blog stuff all week long. I even took pictures! Also I had a post over at Waltzingmouse makers over the weekend. Go check it out!Onto today's project- One of my most favorite stamps is this cupcake. Its out of the Baby Button Bits set from PTI. I hardly ever make baby cards but I use this cupcake all the time! Its great for coloring and awesome for paper piecing. Here I stamped it three times. Once on green cardstock (sorry no clue of color or brand), once on PTI bitty dots summer sunrise, once on Doodlebug patterned paper. Then I got out the scissors and started layering. I topped it off with a lemon tart button (PTI). I also covered the Doodlebug paper in a layer of stickles.Next I went to work on the card. I started with a kraft base. I stamped the sentiment (from the Round and Round PTI anniversary set) three times in chocolate. Then I added two layers of Doodlebug fancy frills. Finally on went the cupcake with some dimensionals. I am pretty pleased, what do you think?

What? A scrapbook?
Its been years! Pretty much when I discovered stamping, I stopped making scrapbooks. I found I liked the instant gratification of a card, plus no printing pictures, etc. So the last few years I have just made books on snapfish. But then I purchased a bind it all from one of the girls on the PTI forum and that BIA was begging to be used.I call it Refrigerator photos because these are the photos that come in the mail and are on my fridge with magnets until more come and then some get put into a box called, fridge photos. Apparently I am going to need quite a few volumes, because I still have plenty of photos. The cover uses a chipboard BIA cover, I covered it with a piece of pp from PTI's pretty pastels. I used my spellbinders and WM stamps to make the label. The tiny flowers are from PTI's wedding set. The big flower is from MM and the button and twine are from PTI.
Here's an inside page. Matt Jr. is my nephew. I used PTI's outline alphabet for the letters.
One more shot... thats more of my nephew and then the lower page is my good friend Jenn's sons. They are much older now. The baby is 5. Thanks for stopping by!

Sunflower Birthday
Hey there! Happy Thursday! Today I have a little birthday card for you. The focal image is from PTI's Round and Round Anniversary set. The sentiment is from Giga Guidelines. The background is the new Argyle set. I stamped the background with lemon tart and chocolate. Sentiment is also in chocolate. Focal point is in spring moss and summer sunrise. There a bit of bitty boxes ripe avocado on the bottom. Two little dark chocolate buttons make up the center of the flowers. Everything below this is just random stuff so if you are just here for the card you might not want to read the rest...
I was scanning photos last night to share on Facebook. I love old photos, old letters, old anything... I have boxes full. Anyway I found one of my first pictures of me and my hubby....This was in my dorm room in 1993. We got married in 1995. I think I was 20 in this picture. I still have that shirt and I dont think it would go over my head anymore! LOL! And here we are now:
This is at his sister's wedding last December. Funny how you look a little different after 17 years!

Sweet Peas
I finally broke open my new Sweet Peas set from PTI. Another great, fun to color set. Coloring is so relaxing. The size on this one is a bit odd, its 4x4.5... I thought it was a standard A2 but I guess it was just a similarly cut scrap. LOL. I used some really old paper frills from doodle bug. They were both a perfect match for my purple sweetpeas. The sentiment is from the same set.

Teacher Appreciation Day
As some of you may know I am a teacher. I am also the president of my school's PTA. So in honor of Teacher Appreciation Day I came up with some crafty stuff to honor our staff. It was technically from our PTA. Our teachers work so hard and I wanted to make sure they were feeling appreciated and loved.
I began by baking some yummy chocolate cupcakes. I found some really cute kraft liners at my local grocery store. I frosted them with homemade butter cream icing and sprinkled them with white nonpareils.I was out junk shopping and I found these tiny little test tubes. I have no idea where you might find some for yourself. Those tiny tubes set me off in the path of a card holding a live flower. My little cards are 4 x4.5. I stamped them with PTI's Turning a New Leaf. I used spring moss ink on Spring Rain, Sweet Blush, and Lemon Tart cardstock. I stamped the little flower in coordinating ink. The flower is from the With Sympathy set. The sentiment is from the new Anniversary Set, Round and Round. In the first close up you see a yellow daisy but when I actually filled them I used tiny roses. They came out so pretty. I wish I had gotten better pictures.
Here you can see the rose. Isn't it pretty? I tied each card with a bit of ribbon and attached the tag using rustic twine. I inserted the little test tube by cutting four slits in the cardstock. You have to put in the little tubes before you fill them. I filled them with water using a pipette. An eyedropper would also work.
Each teacher had their name attached using some tags I cut out of rustic white paper. I used a cuttlebug tag die. I stamped on it using Turning a New Leaf and the With Sympathy flower. Then I hand wrote each name. The inside was stamped in dark chocolate using my Just Rite stamper to make a personalized greeting from our PTA.
And here they are all lined up together with the extra flowers in the background. Apparently I can't count because I had twice as many flowers as needed!

Cheap Thrills
I saw a pack of these little white tags at walmart (I never shop there but I was on a mission looking for something else). Anyway I saw they were like a buck for 100 so they came home with me. As you can see in the first photo they start out plain white. But just look what you can do in just minutes! So easy and fun. If you only have 10 minutes of crafting time consider making some cute little tags. I used PTI stamps (mixed messages and boxes, bags, and tags) and PTI ink.
