Stitches and Swirls

Merry Christmas and Hello friends!  Its been awhile.  I've been knee deep in 7th grade curriculum and grading.  Haven't touched an ink pad for most of the school year.  However, Christmas break has given me some relax time which has been great!  Yay for a little free time!

I give you a card!  I used Stitches and Swirls from PTI.  I colored it with my copics.  While coloring I realized many of my pens are dry so of course I needed to place a large refill order.  Getting those pens filled back up soon!  Colors here are Lime Ice and Berry Sorbet (PTI).  I've got stickles on the flowers which is showing up a bit weird in the picture.  Thanks for taking the time to stop in!

Seriously...

Hello friends!  Today I have a CAS card I made with stamps from Lil' Inkers.  First I cut the seriously with their new die.  I love this die.  LOVE it!  Easy to use and so versatile.  Next I stamped the sentiment using Memento black.  I added strips of patterned paper (Echo Park), some more Lil' Inkers stamps, and some stickles.  Quick and fun.  Thanks for stopping in!

Birthday Wishes

Hey there friends! I have been crafting up a storm all weekend! I should have blog stuff all week long. I even took pictures! Also I had a post over at Waltzingmouse makers over the weekend. Go check it out!Onto today's project- One of my most favorite stamps is this cupcake. Its out of the Baby Button Bits set from PTI. I hardly ever make baby cards but I use this cupcake all the time! Its great for coloring and awesome for paper piecing. Here I stamped it three times. Once on green cardstock (sorry no clue of color or brand), once on PTI bitty dots summer sunrise, once on Doodlebug patterned paper. Then I got out the scissors and started layering. I topped it off with a lemon tart button (PTI). I also covered the Doodlebug paper in a layer of stickles.Next I went to work on the card. I started with a kraft base. I stamped the sentiment (from the Round and Round PTI anniversary set) three times in chocolate. Then I added two layers of Doodlebug fancy frills. Finally on went the cupcake with some dimensionals. I am pretty pleased, what do you think?
