Trendy Trees and Patterned Paper

Hi there friends!  Are you hoarding a large quantity of patterned paper?  Would you like to use it up so you can buy some more (or make room for the paper you already bought)?  Yes?  Well then this is the card for you!  I used up several sheets on one card, Yay!  Now I can plan my next purchase, lol!

This paper is all from Echo Park although it is from two different pads.  The green on the trees is embossed cardstock.  The tree trunks are kraft cardstock, rubbed with ink to darken them a bit.  It felt very satisfying to cut up all that patterned paper and I threw the scraps out because really people, why am I hoarding a 2x2 square when I have enough patterned paper to wall paper my entire house?  Have a great Tuesday!

I agree with you - I have enough PP to last me for years. Yet I continue to buy more. And I still have some from the late 90s! Ack! I just need to use up the darn stuff or throw it away. I keep giving stuff to the kids or to the kids' school but I still have more. Great card though! :)

Love this card and I love the way you combined the patterns. Even I could do this!

Love your patterned paper combo use. They really do go together well. Cute colorful bright card.

P.S. I made some cards today and used patterned paper and tossed the scraps too. I asked myself "and when am I ever going to use these scraps since it took me forever to use the full size?" LOL.

So cute! I have so much patterned paper. I try to use it but I never seem to have the "right" paper.
