Hi there! Yes, can you believe it? Another on time entry for Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday challenge. You can find all the details and the video here.
This first card is my favorite. It was my second attempt. I used Turning a New Leaf, Beautiful Blooms 2, and Floral Fusion.
This is my second favorite. It uses Butterfly Dreams and a sentiment from one of the many fillable frames.
This was my first attempt and while I like enough to give to someone, I dont care for the weird ink effect on the leaves. I wish they were more solid looking. I actually find drawing frames fairly easy but its not something I do a whole lot of.

Friendship and Other Stuff
Friendship card made with my new Ad Sense set. I really like these stamps, very unique. Of course you will notice my circles. I really like those too. LOL. I've still got 4 more pictures of different cards with those circles.
Other stuff. This guy and his two brothers occasionally visit our backyard. I know raccoons are suppose to be evil, but they are so freaking cute. Whenever they come, late at night, my hubby is usually up so a few days later I find pictures on my camera.

More Circles
Hi there! Happy Easter! I've got more circles for you today. I used a Hawaiian shores base and cut the arch out using the Sending You die. On the inside of the card I glued my little froggy, lily pad and sun (all from PTI boy basics frog and simple circles) Frog and lily pad got the copic treatment. I've got a simple circles die cut border, some hawaiian shores ribbon, and some American Crafts green ribbon. The sentiment is from one of the fillable frame sets. Thanks for stopping in today!

Window Flowers
Good Morning! Happy Easter weekend! Will you be visited by the easter bunny? Church on the agenda for tomorrow? I have a nice springy card for you today. I die cut the little windows using PTI's new alphablocks die. So quick and easy for those perfectly cut little squares. I stamped the inside with the flowers from Tag Its 3. Love those flowers. The sentiment and little bee are from the same set. Lots of things you can make with this little set. Its well thought out. I tied on some purple ribbon and called it good. Thanks for stopping in. I should be back with something new on Monday!

Make It Monday: Frog with Circles
Well could it be a Make It Monday card that is actually posted by the deadline? I can't believe it myself. This week's challenge was to emboss with PTI dies. I just got the simple circle die in the mail yesterday! I embossed it on this lovely kraft card and then stamped the circles with a coordinating Simple circle stamp set. I die cut an arch with some hawaiian shores cardstock and also die cut the frog and lily pad. The frog and lily pad got the copic treatment. The sentiment is from Sending You. All supplies are PTI except for the buttons, those are from Doodlebug.

Roses
So way back when, like 3 weeks ago, PTI showcased coloring on colored paper for their Make It Monday series. I made these. Then I never took a picture. Thats how my life has been going lately. Anyway I love the way they turned out, and I have a few more to show you tomorrow. For this first card I used a Kraft base. I stamped on polka dots using versamark ink. Next I stamped my rose on Blueberry sky cardstock. I added details with my copic markers. I stamped the leaves on Spring moss and again went back with copics. I cut a piece of vellum and punched it with my fiskars punch. I stamped on the sentiment in Enchanted evening ink. A little ribbon finishes off the card. Most supplies are by Papertrey Ink.
This card is very similar. Main difference is the colors and the orientation. I used orange zest and summer sunrise.

Have You Read This Book?
Have you read this book? It's amazing. I have been following this blog, since Maddy was a tiny baby. I don't know Matt. I was linked to his blog through a friend of mine who was going through some tough grief herself. Once I started reading I was hooked. Even if you don't follow Matt's blog I think you will like the book. It's well written, heartfelt, hopeful and amazing. I finished it in two days, and I already knew how the story went. Check it out, you won't be sorry.
(For the Record- I don't know Matt, I don't receive anything for recommending his book- it's just a really great read.)

Birdies!
I admit it. I am still a sucker for cute patterned paper. I saw this paper, from 3 bugs in a rug, at my LSS and I had to have it. Of course once I bought it I had no clue what to do with it. So last night here is what I came up with. First off we have the mega bird! I made him with a variety of circle dies and punches. He is so big there is no room for a sentiment. Although I did contemplate putting it on his stomach.
This next card I made for the Waltzingmouse Makers blog. I used Claires lovely egg stamps and sentiment as a background for all the little birds. A fun and easy card to make. If you want to know all the deets you can hop over to the Waltzingmouse Makers blog.

Cookie bag
Good Morning! I have a little treat sack today. I bought the bags from PTI. They're cute and small and perfect for four or five homemade cookies. I used the PTI tag die (I think its number 3) and a spellbinder lacy circle cut from some sweet echo park paper (at least I think its echo park). I added a little circle punch stamped with the PTI Tag It set. A little bit of rustic twine and some golden harvest ribbon and you are all done! Thanks for coming by today.

Shady Tree Wednesday (ok well almost Thursday)
Hey there! How are you? So during my internet absence, I missed a couple of deadlines, one of them was my Shady Tree Studio Wednesday post. So here I am to make up for it. I used stamps from Backyard Spring. The cardstock is spring rain from PTI. Memento and enchanted evening ink. The butterfly was cut from acetate with the PTI butterfly die. I covered it in sparkly embossing powder (hero arts) and then in diamond stickles. I added some Doodlebug bling. Flowers are colored with my copics and have some orange peel stickles in the center.
And a close up. I love that butterfly and that sweet sentiment! Thanks for stopping by!

A Happy Hello
Hello friends! I've got a fun little card for you today. Sorry the picture quality is not stellar, I took it during the torrential rains last week. I used some PTI (Sending You and Gingham). I will say this: I love the sending you set. Great sentiments, love the arch, love the flower middles. The gingham set I do not like. It is impossible to line up. See all those extra flowers... the ribbon...? Yeah they are hiding the lines, you cant really see it here because the photo is washed out but in real life it is so not bueno. I would put gingham down as a do not buy. Go to another company and get a full size background. I hate to say it, because you know I love PTI but its the truth, as I see it anyway. Anyhow enough product review. The card is all PTI except the bling and the ink. Bling is by doodlebug and the ink is by dewdrops. Thanks for stopping in!

Welcome Back!
Hi! Welcome back! Its been a week since I last posted. Can you believe I was without internet that whole time? Wow, it was so weird... the first few days I felt like an addict without a fix! Anyhow I changed internet companies since company one didn't think fixing my internet should be a priority. Then there was some wait time while company two installed everything. Now we are up and running and things are so far going well. In the meantime I have been very busy at work and got almost no crafting time in. I do, however, have a card to show you today.
Card Deets: Bitty Bird, Sending You, and Vintage Picnic Stamp sets by Papertrey Ink. Soft Stone cardstock (PTI), purple paper ( Doodlebug), copic markers, palette ink
