Shady Tree Birdie

Hello! Happy Monday! I've been up since 6, getting the kids off to school and then it was off to the phlebotomist for my blood draw, I am off to the endocrinologist next week. Anyhow.... I made this a week or so ago. I used the Two Birds set from Shady Tree Studios. I stamped and colored with my copics and then sponged with my spring rain ink pad. Oh and speaking of copics, I am so excited because I am getting copic certified next weekend... yay! Looking forward to it. Again, I digress... back to the card. The sentiment is from Hero ARts. I think that paper is from Echo Park (but I am not willing to swear my life on it. ) The ribbon and cardstock is from PTI. Thanks for stopping in today!

New Buttons

On Saturday I decided I *needed* some new copic markers. So I made a little list and headed off to my LSS. Would you believe they did not have a single color that I wanted??? So I had to console myself by wandering the shop looking for something else to calm the crafting addict within. I found these buttons! Made by Doodlebug in precious little flower and leaf shapes. Not at all cheap, probably overpriced- but I had fallen in love at first site and therefore had to purchase them. I came straight home and whipped up this lovely little card.
Card Deets:
Stamps: PTI button bits
Paper: Ripe Avocado (PTI) white (PTI) patterned (Echo Park)
Buttons: Doodlebug
Ribbon: Plum Pudding (PTI)

Card and Tag Set

Warning- photo heavy post today! Awhile ago (who knows how long, as I tend to hoard things) I picked up some little scrapbooking packets from Pebbles ( like these). Anyway I started cutting them up with my scallop dies and ric rac dies. When I had them all cut up I made them into a cute little card and gift set that I donated to our school silent auction. On the first card I decided to also use up some old prima flowers I had been hoarding. Along with those green leaves that I bought eons ago. I used fillable frames for the sentiment. On this one I paper pieced the cupcake from Baby Button Bits. The sentiment is from Birthday Basics.
Here are the gift tags. I used up some bling as well as some of the stickers that came in the scrap packs. I packaged the rest of the stickers to use as seals for the envies.
This card uses a whole bunch of sentiments, all from PTI but from different sets. I made it for the make a card monday challenge but then never got it posted. Such is life around here.
This card has another giant flower and some leaves. I curved the sentiment on the block. I am also showing off my lined envies!
And one more shot showing off the front of the envie! Thanks for stopping in today. I know the blog has been really sporadic. I have had so much going on in my real life, I haven't had much time for my cyber one!

Make It Monday Challenge #2

Hi Bloggy Friends! Have you been by Papertrey Ink recently? They are having a new weekly challenge called, Make It Monday. First you watch the little video and get all inspired, then you make up a cute card that answers the challenge. You can win a free set of stamps! I tried to enter last week but... although the card got done- the pictures never did! Story of my life lately- day late and a dollar short. But I digress....
For this card I used YOF, Rose. I stamped it on white in memento black ink. I colored it with my copic markers (RV11, RV 13, RV 14) I stamped some leaves and colored those too (YG03, YG 14). I cut out everything and then made a vellum strip (this was the main part of the challenge- use a vellum strip) for the sentiment. I adhered it all together and there ya go! Thanks for stopping in!

Pretty Packaging Makes Everything Better

Hi Bloggy Friends! I have some cute pretty packaging for you to look at today. I really like the tag. That rose card has been on the blog before. If you search copics or year of flowers tags you should find it. The tag was made with the mat stack 2 set from PTI. I have some fresh snow ink and a little bling and I called it done. I like quick and easy things!

Love Birds

What have we here? Today its the Love Birds set. I hand cut the cage, easy peasy- no die for me. I used some silver cardstock with clear embossing. The sentiment is also in embossed silver. It doesnt photograph that great but it looks fabulous. I used the card edger die on the bottom as well. Some little rhinestones at the top for the hanger. Thanks for stopping by!

Butterfly

I love this butterfly stamp from PTI. The shape is perfect... I only wish it didnt have the sentiment because I love it so much and the word dream really limits what I can use it on. Today's card has a lovely flourish (PTI Fancy Flourishes) and lots of yummy gems for extra sparkle. It's stamped on vellum. I inked the edges with the same orange ink. The base is raspberry fizz cardstock. I sent it to Katie. Hope she likes it! Thanks for stopping by the blog... I always love seeing your comments. I swear nearly all my friends live in the computer. How I love the internet! :) Happy Thursday
