Violet Thanks

Hello there! Happy Tuesday! Today I have a card for you chock full of my new PTI goodies. First up the Violet from Year of the Flowers: Violets. I thought this flower would be easy to color. I was wrong. Not easy. In Bloom and Friends til the end are so much easier. I stamped the leaves on pp from MM. The striped paper is also from MM (I bought it ages ago, I am sure its not around anymore). I made the scallop with my new PTI scallop die... this is the large scallop. I added some new leaf ribbon which looks avocado like in the pic but in real life is a much truer green. The sentiment is from YOF: Violets. The little frame is from Fillable Frames. I have the die to cut it out, but this one I did by hand. The ink is from dew drops, the name is escaping me at the moment. The base of the card is PTI New Leaf. Thanks for stopping in!

Beautiful card! I love those colors together, too. I just got this set yesterday, and I don't own any copics yet. I'll see how I do with pastels and markers...

This is so pretty Michele! I'm worried about coloring this now...if you had a hard time, I definitely won't be able to do it!

That violet is just so beautiful! The checkered paper is a cool idea for the leaves too :)

Very pretty card, Michele! :) Interesting look to the violet. Almost a "watercolor" look. :)
