Falling Leaves

Hello!Long time no write! Once again school has started and teaching English takes all of my time. So many things to do, so many papers to grade. Since the start of the school year I've made like 10 cards. Sad but true.  This card uses a set from Simon Says Stamp (Leaves and Scribbles?) and some PTI paper and ink.  The leaves are die cut and also brushed with gold perfect pearls... sparkly in real life- not so much on the computer screen.  Thanks for stopping by!

Waltzingmouse Stamps Blog Party! "Falling for You"

MEMO0034
Hello Friends! Its the 17th of the month which means its time for the Waltzingmouse Blog Party.  You can find all the details here.  The theme is fall and I have the perfect WMS set for fall.  Its one of my all time favorites- Teeny Trees.  Here I used the largest tree trunk paired with the tiny maple leaf.  I stamped the tree and sentiment in palette dark chocolate.  I stamped the leaves in a variety of versamagic chalk inks.  I used my copic liner to make the stitching lines and the leaf trail.  I hope you like it!

STS Charms of Autumn

Hi there friends! I have another Charms of Autumn card by Shady Tree Studio for you today! I just love this image, so much to color. One of the things I like best about Nancy's stamps is how "artsy" they are. Each stamp is a miniature work of art.
Here are the copic colors I used. Some readers were asking me about which colors I use. I never include this because I usually put them all away long before taking the picture. What do you think? Is this information you want to see? If you do, I could try to make more of an effort. Thanks for stopping by!

I am Ready for Fall

Hey there! What do you think of the new banner? I always get so proud when I manage to master (ok maybe not master...) a new skill. My old banner wasn't big enough for the three column layout so we had to go with something new. The new banner was made using a picture of the card below.Yes, I caved. I bought Heather Nichols' new set from PTI. I loved it so much I just had to have it. For this card I used summer sunrise, harvest gold, dark chocolate, and orange zest.
I also used a ton of stickles in copper, orange, and yellow. Love me some stickles! The ribbon is harvest gold and the button is orange zest. Thanks for stopping by!

My Favorite of the Rejects

For that last Papercrafts call I submitted more than I have ever before. I think I sent in like 7 projects? Anyway this one was my favorite. (BTW the one they picked isn't a card, its a box and it will be in the Stamp It! Techniques Special Edition). So this card is all papertrey. Lots of masking going on. I started by stamping the Orange zest base with the vine image in watermark ink. Next I used some cream cardstock as a back ground and stamped on the tall pumpkin. I was using versamagic chalk ink and PTI hybrid ink in a variety of colors. I masked the tall pumpkin and stamped the fat pumpkin. I masked the fat pumpkin and stamped the frame and green vines. Next I added the pumpkin tops and sentiment. Aside from the mask cutting its a simple card to make. Thanks for stopping by!

Hello Fall

Good morning and Happy Monday to you! Today I have another fall card using stamps from Autumn Abundance and Fall Elegance, both by PTI. Its a pretty simple card. I used Scarlet Jewel for the base, some PTI pp, and some kraft. The acorn stamp was stamped on kraft in brown and colored with copics. After coloring I coated it with some diamond stickles. I stamped the back ground using watermark ink. The sentiment is stamped in fresh snow. I added three little buttons and called it good!

Fall Blessings

Hi! I've got another fall card for you today. I made this by combining a couple of different PTI sets. I used Out on a Limb, Fall Elegance, and Fillable Frames. I used terracotta tile and dark chocolate ink from PTI and Versamagic Pumpkin Spice. The base is Terracotta tile. The ribbon and button are also terracotta. I bought this fall elegance set last year and then promptly forgot I had it. I am so glad I pulled it out a few days ago because I have found I really like it! I guess the motto here is, use what you have! Thanks for stopping by!

Fall Leaves

I have been meaning to post this one, but it got lost in the digital pile.  I ran across it today while looking for something else.  I have been working on new cards this weekend, so hopefully I will have some new stuff this week.  This card uses all PTI products.  The leaves are from fall elegance.  Swirls from Fancy Flourishes, melon, moss, and hibiscus ink.  melon, moss, and cream cardstock.  The sentiment is from the Butterfly Kisses.  Thanks for stopping by.

Celebrate Fall

I don't know about you all but I am ready for some cool weather! We had a nice summer, not too many days in the triple digits... but I am really ready for some sweater weather. A little wind and maybe a tad bit of rain. This card uses some of the newer papertrey products. The pp is from their August collection. The sentiment and stamp is from Autumn Abundance. I stamped in dark chocolate and fresh snow. I colored with my copics. The acorns have a little bit of stickles on them.

Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to the PTI blog hop! If you want details go here. This month's challenge was to make something inspired by fall. These mums and these colors just scream fall to me. I used Lauren Meader's Timeless Template, Get a Handle on it. I made the base with Vintage cream cardstock. I added panels using the new Autumn patterned paper. The mums are stamped in dark chocolate. They are from the Autumn Abundance set. I colored them with copics and mounted them on summer sunrise cardstock. The ribbon is from my stash. The yellow flower and leaves are by prima. Thanks for stopping by!
