What a Difference a Year Makes

Or maybe I should have titled this: Come Look at My Mess! The first picture is a picture of my scrapbook corner (circa Jan of 2008). Its in my living room... you can see it from the front door. I am sure this is a decorating don't, but we have no spare rooms and I was tired of having this all over my dining room table.

Now here we are, same corner, a year later. Wow have I added a lot of crap to this mess. You will also notice picking up my stuff has fallen by the wayside. I am rapidly out growing this corner. Unfortunately I have no where to move up too. I had thought we would be buying a new house by now, however the economy is in the toilet, I am layed off as of September, so there is no money to buy a new, bigger house with a nice scrapbook/craft room. Sigh. Just thought I would share.

Well, I will say this much...
Nobody can say you don't use it because you certainly do!!! It would be different if it all sat there untouched taking up space. Don't feel bad for adding to your stash (or exploding it lol)...you make great stuff in that corner!!!

Your corner looks good to me, my stamping supplies reside next to a water cooler, on top of my dryer, and one floor down in the family room closet. At least I get some stairs in rounding up needed goodies.

Michele I so sympathise with you. I work in a corner too - we have no spare rooms either and we also wanted to move but can't. Having said that I always think it's more important to 'do something' and so I wouldn't pack all my stuff away just so's I can have a 'feng shui' corner lol. I think hobbies are a sign of a healthy mind!! Empty space=empty head!! Lol. PS. hope the job front improves.

Heehee! Well, at least its confined to a corner! My husband is begging me to break down the squatter's stamp camp I've set up in the living room and move back into my messy craft space in our room! At least it looks like you are having fun! :>
