Daffodil Thank You

image
Greetings friends!  Today I have a copic colored card for you.  Its been awhile since I last had my pens out!  Heck the crafty supplies haven't seen much use at all lately!  So much going on in my life!  Let me get the card deets out of the way and then I will catch you up.  First off, this card uses two PTI sets:  Year of the Flowers, Daffodil and Background Basics, Tin Type.  I stamped both in dark chocolate ink.  The base of the flower in white and the base of the card is fine linen.  I cut the flower out using the coordinating die.  I colored it with Y13,Y15,Y17, and Y18.  The stem/leaves are colored with YG23 and YG25.  The sentiment is from Thanks All Ways (I think...).  The washi tape is from WRMemories and the sequins are doodlebug.
RANDOMNESS:  So I've been busy starting a new teaching job at a new school.  I've changed both grades and subjects.  I am now teaching 7th grade ELA/History and an elective focused on merging technology and science and writing.  I am super excited but wow, so much work!  Anyway the workload will definitely be keeping me busy especially when school starts on the 2nd.
Leaving my old school was really hard (but a good decision I think!).  I was there 17 years!  Craziness. My principal retired last year and I decided it was time for a change.  Speaking of that, when she retired I drew her this picture of the front of the school and colored it with my copics.  Its 8.5x11 inches.  I framed it for her.  She loved it!  IMG_0226
I really enjoyed doing it.  Sometimes we get so busy we totally forget to do the things we love.  I love to draw.  Thanks for stopping in today!

Seriously, you colored that? That's awesome! See how I said seriously to go with all your seriously cards? LOL I know nothing of Lil' Inkers - may have to fancy over there because that die is seriously cool.
Good luck with the new gig!
