My sister in law is expecting her first baby this May. We are all so excited for her. I was happy to make the invitations for her shower in April. Thankfully they are almost all done, because I have never been one for mass production. I used Spring rain and lemon tart cardstock with doodlebug dotted paper. The teddy bear is from PTI's baby button bits.
The information is all computer generated. I am way to lazy to hand write it. I used PTI's gingham ribbon and buttons. The blue squiggly is from bitty bird and the little ducky from bitty baby.
This is a one layer card made with a piece of PTI Kraft paper. I stamped the little bear in dark chocolate. I punched a heart out of some PTI bitty dots paper and covered it in crystal stickles. I then used a Doodlebug Fancy Frills heart border that I cut in pieces. The sentiment is from the same set and is also stamped in dark chocolate.
Good Morning! Happy Friday to you! Today I have a welcome baby card for you. I used PTI rustic white for the base. The yellow scallops are from Bitty Dot Summer Sunrise. I cut them using the PTI scallop die. The green scallop is more Doodle Bug Fancy Frills. The teddy bear is from the Baby button set from PTI. I stamped it on kraft and cut it out. I colored with my topics and added a rhinestone/brad from MM. Thanks for stopping in!
First up is this cute little baby boy card. Unfortunately I know only one pregnant person and she is having a girl! LOL... maybe I can sell it at school. Anyway I used Waltzingmouse Vintage circles to stamp the circle border in Spring Rain ink. I then cut it out with my scallop nesties. I stamped the little border on PTI white with Spring rain ink using a little companion stamp from vintage circles. The little lamb and sentiment are from WM Lil Buddies set. I colored the lamb with my copics to match the spring rain ink. I punched a border with my slot punch and threaded through some spring rain ribbon and then tied on a matching bow. The whole thing was super quick to make.
I just love this little card, doesn't it look like the Bees are circling the sentiment? First I stamped the Bees on PTI white. I kind of just eyeballed where they should be based on the circles. Next I masked them with a quick paper mask. Then I used the dotted circle from WM Vintage circles and lined it up with the bees and stamped it in black noir. Next I added the sentiment (from WM Lil Buddies) and the small bee (from WM spring baskets). I added some color with my copics. I cut out a scalloped mat with my nesties using PTI bitty boxes paper. The card base is Summer Sunrise. I stamped it with the WM Off Beat Backgrounds checkerboard using summer sunrise ink. Next I ran PTI tea dye ink all over it (had to cover my crooked stamping! LOL). I decided to pull out my new Baby Button Bits. Truth be told, I really don't even like making baby cards all that much, but this set was so adorable it sucked me right in. I love this cupcake. Its adorable and perfect for paper piecing. I have made many, many cupcakes today so I am sure you will be seeing quite a few in the near future. Anyway back to the card, here are the deets:
Here is a set I rarely use. There aren't many babies popping out around me lately! It is such a cute set though. My friend Stacey just had her shower for her third baby, who is due very soon! I made this little gift bag for the shower gift. Sorry for the bad picture... the one that had the card in it looked even worse! Anyway the bag was super easy to make. I picked up a plain kraft gift bag at Target. It was 50 cents. I adhered a strip of spring rain cardstock, some spring rain gingham ribbon. Before adhering I punched the top of the cs with my trusty fiskars punch. Next I added three ovals of pti linen vellum. I stamped the three animals on various pti patterned paper and cut them out. I glued them to the vellum and stamped the sayings underneath. I then glued the ovals to the bag. The whole project took me maybe 15 minutes. Looks pretty good for a 50cent bag, right?
Broke out PTI's Bird Watching again. Mixed it up with the next and eggs from Birds of a Feather. Added some Bitty dot paper. Flowers from Prima, pearls from hero arts. Ink from dew drops. Hope you like... I haven't had much time to do anything lately. Its the end of the school year which means I work a lot more putting together the yearbook, breaking down the science supplies, etc. Thanks for stopping by!
I made this for a colleague who is expecting a baby girl in just a few short weeks. I love how it turned out! I used birds of a feather (this is my favorite image from that set) paired with Birds of a Feather sentiment. The celebrate is from Its a Celebration. I used polka dot basics on the hibiscus burst strip on the bottom and the small single polka dot to go around the side. Some hibiscus burst swiss dot and a little bit of stickles complete the card.
