MIM #98 Chalkboard Technique

Hello friends!  Happy New Year to you all!  I hope 2013 is treating you right!  So far so good here- I am still on Winter Break from work and enjoying the last little bit of free time.  This week I decided to participate in PTI's Make it Monday (MIM).  This week they were teaching the chalkboard technique.  You can see all the details here.

Here is my entry. This is the first time I have attempted the chalk board technique.  I used PTI's Hello Sunshine stamp set.  The flourishes are from the Mat Stack Collection.  I used Summer Sunrise and Fresh Snow inks as well as white embossing powder.  I also used colored pencils.  Cardstock is white and true black.

  12. Great job with the technique. I love how you made the chalkboard the focal point without it taking up the entire card. Might try this.
