This is the original card and envie that I made. I was playing with Star Prints and then I pulled out a couple of older sets that also have stars (Its a Celebration and Everyday Classics). The big sentiment is from Think Big Sentiments. I wanted a totally flat card for my set. Most people don't like to pay extra postage for big funky bows.

This is the packaging. I used a box that my stamps came in to hold the envies and cards. I wrapped it with a belly band made of Doodlebug patterned paper. I added a bow, a die cut star, and a handmade label (Just for You set).

Then last week's MIM came out and I thought this was the perfect card to "layer up". I wanted to do it three ways but alas I only got to two and even then I missed the MIM deadline. But here is what I have: Same basic layout with some of the stars stamped twice and popped up with foam. Then I got out some bling and went to town. Thats tiny star bling on the polkadot green star. So cute.
I love all your star stamping. And that color combo is beautiful. AND I love the box you packaged it all up in! Great set!
ReplyDeleteGreat set of cards. I also like how you layered up the card. Perfect job with the packaging too. Love the paper you used for the belly band.

ReplyDeleteWonderful cards, Michele! I'm always looking for ways to make interesting cards but to make them flat for easy mailing. I really like the blues and greens together.
ReplyDeleteFab.u.lous! These are great! I, too, have trouble with one-layer cards. And of course, now I need Star Prints. Thanks for the inspiration!
